Zone: RC Structures

Reinforced concrete decks, frames, columns, cladding andother such structural elements often built in the 1960s,70s and 80s are subject to corrosion related issues as the cover becomes contaminated with chlorides, carbon dioxide and simply water related damage.

C-Probe has a wealth of experience with corrosion management of buildings and car parks where many mitigation methods have been adopted and performance related data have been acquired and reported.

All other products can be relevant to these structures in the form of:

  • Early detection of corrosion
  • Galvanic protection
  • Impressed current cathodic protection
  • Inhibitor evaluation
  • Interoperable use of all the above techniques

Park Square MSCP

This car park comprises of 21 split-level decks that was restored using multiple corrosion mitigation techniques to provide the most cost-effective but durable system.
